Our 5 Step Luxury Interior Design Process

We subscribe to our ‘5 Step’ process in regard to luxury interior design to ensure you achieve your aspirational home all the way from concept to completion. We keep the process straightforward and enjoyable for you, so whether it’s one room or your entire home, you'll get your dream home and luxury interior. 

The 1st step is a home visit and brief: We’ll visit your home and meet the people involved in all the decision making. We can fit around your diary - including on evenings and weekends - but we would prefer to see the space we're working with in natural light as certain fabrics and colours can create entirely different moods and transform from day to evening. We’ll discuss how you want to use each room, take photographs and measurements, and establish a budget.

Step 2 is all about design development. Focusing on your brief, our luxury interior design experts develop a detailed design to calculate a functional and proportionate layout that compliments the rest of your property. Whether it’s knocking down walls or creating lighting and electrical layouts, we'll consider every detail of your project.

Step 3 involves a design presentation, where we will meet you at our Harrogate showroom and present you with our design schemes and ideas, and giving you access to our vast library of design books. This session will cover all aspects of your project, including timescales, implementation, price options, and more. As we illustrate your design scheme in this stage, your project really starts to ‘come to life’.

The next step is a meeting that usually takes place 7-10 days after your design presentation and covers costing presentations. We will summarise your chosen design scheme and give you an itemised breakdown of costs. The whole process, from our initial meeting, to your project commencement, usually takes 4 - 6 weeks.

The final step is project management: We tailor this part of the service to your individual needs, luxury interior design ideas, and we remain in regular contact throughout. This is the ‘hassle free’ part for you, as it's us who liaise with our various trades people, or your own, if you prefer.
